How to get to Sliema

Traveling by Car

From Malta International Airport, follow the road signs toward Sliema. Your route will take you through the village of Luqa and onto the Marsa bypass. Once you hit the motorway, simply follow the final signs leading into Sliema.

Traveling by Bus

You have two main public transport routes depending on where exactly in Sliema you need to be:

Option 1: Via Bombi

Board Route 72 (direction Qrendi) at the airport.
Disembark at the Bombi interchange.
Transfer to Route 13A (direction Pembroke).
Get off at the Ghadir bus stop.

Option 2: Via Mater Dei

Board Route X1 (direction Cirkewwa) at the airport.
Disembark at Mater Dei Hospital.
Transfer to Route 233 (direction Swieqi).
Get off at the Torri bus stop.
